My dream ring!

I was dropping serious hints about the diamond engagement ring that I wanted for a while. I couldn't help it! I know that Teddy has THE worst taste in jewelry. I told him flat out that if he found a ring that looked like Ashlee simpson's ring or Nicole richies ring, that he'd be on the right track. Well this looks exactly like it!!!! I couldn't believe he did such a great job. I LOVE this ring. My dream ring for real.

She is so excited about this ring

I knew that my fiance wanted a unique vintage style ring, and after doing my best to pick up on the -not-so-subtle hints she was sending me, I started my search. This engagement ring was by far the most unique and attractive engagement ring that I found online on any of the sites I looked at- and also fit her criteria (cushion cut or radiant cut with a halo style and pave setting). Moreover, it was surprisingly affordable. I compared the pave-style/halo rings on james allen and blue nile with this ring...but there was really nothing similar. I found the jameallen rings to be a bit too flashy, and the blue nile rings to be a bit too delicate and conservative, or what my sister called "grandma-ish. This was really the ring that I knew she'd love...and I'm so glad I stuck with my gut feeling. She was speechless when I had her open the box, and did that thing with her hands where she flaps them in the air to cool her face down because she's so excited. (I love it when she does that, it SO adorable)
