Looks best with a round diamond

The way the setting is structured it looks best with a round diamond. If you go with a cheaper cut like an emerald or an ascher cut diamond ring, then I suggest a prong setting. At first my husband and I wanted to go for a less popular shape but we fell in love with this setting. I suppose a heart shape would also work pretty well with the half bezel setting. In any case we are very happy with our choice.

Sale went through after some help from the Zoara team

I went to the design your own option and I was actually looking for a heart shaped diamond, but they didn't have the carat size I wanted. I went to some other online sites but they didn't have them either. I noticed though that the Zoara prices were lower in most cases so I came back and found this really beautiful setting. I chatted with Dan on live chat about the diamond I should select for my center stone, and the next day he sent me suggestions as well as a code for an online coupon for 10% off. I felt confident about the diamond and the setting, and with 10%, I was ready to buy. I'm glad I did, because my fiance loves the ring!

Half bezel and tension

When I saw this ring I was a little confused because I had before clicked the tension setting on the gallery page and what I saw was quite similar. The difference it turns out was that the tension setting holds the diamond from the sides alone and it floats because there's nothing holding it on the bottom. That sounded cool, though I wasn't willing to risk the diamond being lost even though Zoara assured me that was practically impossible, still I went for this half bezel set diamond because you can see from the vertical picture it holds the diamond from underneath as well.

Very cute

When my boyfriend and I were first discussing getting married I thought about what ring he would give me. I pictured what you usually see in the streets and mall windows these days, the normal prong setting with the round diamond in between. Then I saw this in the box and I was actually initially quite confused. I didn't see how the diamond was actually secured in the setting and after the initial emotion of the proposal I took a good look and I was amazed by the interesting design of this engagement ring setting. My boyfriend made a very good choice.

They need more settings like this one

I was particularly interested in this setting and one's like it. I eventually bought it because the price was lower and I am generally happy with it. I actually bought just the setting because my cousin is a diamond cutter and I bought from him. Since I wasn't buying the diamond from them we had to work out exactly what caratage I wanted for the setting so Zoara could give me the right size. Eventually I had them call my cousin and they worked it out and we made the purchase. Everything went smoothly.
