An excuse for a spontaneous vacation
10 years after getting married, and also with a better financial situation, I decided to give my wife an upgrade to her 0.50 carat engagement ring by buying her a 2 carat diamond and a vintage engagement ring. However, as we are German citizens, I was concerned about paying 20% of the order value to customs, which would amount to over $5,000. Not that the money was such an issue, but I really didn’t want to have to pay so much money with nothing to show for it. My partner at work had a not-so-crazy suggestion that use that money to buy plane tickets to the U.S. (for about $1,800) and spend the 2012 New Year’s weekend in New York, and just have the diamond sent there. That’s just what we did, and we had an amazing time, and my wife simply wore her new ring on her finger back to Germany. This was by far the best money that I have ever spent!

Much simpler than I expected
My wife and I were looking for an eternity ring for our 40th anniversary, but as we are retirees living in Mexico, we were worried about the extent of customs fees and delays that we would encounter; mostly because we didn’t know how we would pay them (our Spanish still isn’t all that great). Our worries proved to be unfounded, as all we had to do was to pay FedEx, who shipped the order. We didn’t even have to leave the condo, as the deliveryman had a portable credit card payment device, and we paid a relatively small VAT that way. The ring was beautiful and even including the tax it was a great deal, especially compared to local stores.

Great prices and service
I wanted to get diamond studs weighing 2 carats for my wife for our 10th anniversary, but was concerned about the customs fees for such an expensive order, as we live in Vancouver, Canada. Comparing prices locally I saw that Zoara’s prices were still way lower than anything here, even after taking the expected customs charges into account. In the end I just had them shipped to a FedEx holding location just across the border in Washington State, and drove a couple hours back home, having saved a few hundred dollars. We will be buying again!

Much cheaper than in the UK
I was looking around in the UK for an engagement ring for my now fiancé, and was disappointed with the high prices, which brought me online and to Zoara. Initially, I was hesitant because of concerns over customs fees, which are about 20% in my country, but when I compared Zoara’s prices and the prices at my local shops, I realized that the online prices were more than 50-75% lower than anything that I could get in the UK, probably because the local shops had to pay those customs fees as well and would factor it into the price anyway.

last resort... first choice
So I recently was injured and unable to work and I had been shopping for engagement in the usual retail stores and leaving disappointed prior to my injury. When I became latched to the sofa due to my injury I had no choice but to use the internet. It was actually a lot easier but I lacked the peace of mind that attributes to going to a store. I became discouraged and my last resort was consumer reports. On that web site I actually didn't find Zoara but I did find a dealer that eventually lead me to their link and I was thoroughly impressed. Not only were the choices affordable and high quality, the customer service is amazing. They actually do care about you as a customer and the pictures do not lie, the rings look as good as advertised. I will definitely purchase from them again and I will never go into a retail store. They are extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I would ask for is a grading report if possible upon purchase but I didn't inquire when I bought the ring so no complaints.

Great piece, I just couldn't wait for it
The service was OK and the jewelry I bought was very nice but the shipping took forever! If you say you're going to ship the item out in 2-3 business days then you should really try and stick to that promise. It took two whole weeks to get my order, which is way too long. Regardless, I love my necklace and am totally satisfied.

I'm not used to going online and rating stores and products but I felt that this site deserved a glowing recommendation. I love the jewelry I got off of this website and I was really happy by how fast my order was delivered. This is really a top notch website.
